Electric Service

The project will is located in the Western Massachusetts Electric Company (“WMECO’) service territory and will interconnect with WMECO’s existing 23kV circuit in Savoy.  The interconnection distance will be approximately seven miles to reach the 23 kV circuit in the center of Savoy at the intersection of Routes 8A and 116.

WMECO has completed an initial feasibility study of the interconnection which indicates that the system can accommodate the project.
